From the 1st of May till the 31st of August each year, we offer discount wacky winter specials on our car rental fleet and from the 1st of September till the 31st of October, our nutty spring specials offer the cheapest, long term car rental options in Cape Town.  Car rental prices during this period are typically dependent on availability vehicles in each of the car rental categories, but car rental prices during these seasons are significantly lower than during the peak or mid season.  Renta-VW also offers special pricing to students, internship companies and volunteer workers who are interested in cheap long term car rentals of one month or longer.  Should you find a better rental offer at another car rental company, we would gladly match or better the offer, subject to availability and renting of a vehicle in a similar car rental group.

Upgrading to a new vehicle for doing trips to Namibia or Mozambique

In order to accommodate these overseas explorers we have have aligned ourselves with companies such as Europcar, Budget car rental and First car hire.  Through this alignment we can now offer our clients a wide selection of affordable rental vehicles for doing longer road trips within the borders of South Africa and also neighbouring countries such as Namibia and Mozambique.  Car rental vehicles can now be collected at in all major towns and cities, including Cape Town International airport, Johanesburg international airport, Durban airport and Port Elizabeth airport etc.

Should a client enter into a long term cheap car rental contract with Renta-VW, we offer our clients the option to upgrade from their budget Renta-VW rental vehicle, to an affordable new car rental, when they intend doing longer trips.  During this "upgrade period" clients only have to pay for the upgrade vehicle and not for the Renta-VW vehicle.
